Mr. Albert A. Dorman has been honored with an entry in the new book Engineering Legends: Great American Civil Engineers, published in August 2005 by the American Society of Civil Engineers, and written by Richard G. Weinhardt, P.E.

Mr. Dorman is included in a chapter titled "Movers and Shakers," a chapter that also includes Buckminster Fuller.  The book explores the professional accomplishments and personal lives of 32 great American civil engineers from the 1700's to the present.
