Ludwig Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer Becton, Dickinson and Company, and chairman of the Healthcare Institute of New Jersey, the organization representing the State’s major pharmaceutical and medical technology companies.
Wednesday, October 19 2:30 - 4:00 PM GITC, Room 1100	The DARPA Grand Challenge Shamoon Siddiqui, BS COE 2004 (Honors College), MS COE 2005, Adam Hines, NJIT Honors College Senior, CS Major; and David Rodriguez, NJIT Computer Engineering Major A team of students from NJIT is designing a driverless vehicle that will compete in a national race in which it must navigate 175 miles of daunting desert terrain. Learn about this project and how you can participate, from Shamoon Siddiqui, team leader, and other Dorman Honors alumni.
Saturday, October 29 Leave campus 8:00 AM. Return approximately 2:00 PM.	Honors Trip: The United Nations The main part of the tour consists of a visit to the chambers of the Security Council, the Trusteeship Council and the Economic and Social Council, which are located in the Conference Building. Monday, November 14 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM GITC, Room 1400	HIV/AIDS in the Middle East: Issues and Solutions Dr. Sandra Sufian, PhD, MPH, Assistant Professor of Medical Humanities and History at the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Medicine Co-sponsored with History Colloquium. Dr. Sufian focuses on Middle East Health issues and has founded a global network of researchers on HIV/AIDS in the Middle East and North Africa.

Students must attend both the plays and the conversation to receive colloquium credit. Limited to the first 30 students to reserve by email to Ms. Hulin, no later than November 29.
Monday, December 5 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM GITC, Room 1400	The BS/MS Program at NJIT Cosponsored with the Graduate School The BS/MS program allows you to take two (or, for some programs, four) graduate courses as an undergraduate and have them count for both the undergraduate degree and a later graduate degree at NJIT. This and other features of this program make it possible to rapidly complete a graduate degree within only one or two semesters after completion of the undergraduate degree.
