All Honors students begin their career by creating an Individual Education Plan. To create this plan, students research their chosen major and possible minors; investigate the service opportunities available; give some thought to research or other projects they would like to become involved in; and look ahead to possible graduate work and a career.

The Individual Education Plan is created as part of the Honors Freshman Seminar, taken first semester.

Students entering Honors after their first semester create their Individual Education Plan as part of the application process.
