The Dorman Honors College offers both regular and accelerated/combined programs in Medicine, Dentistry, Optometry, Physical Therapy (Doctor of Physical Therapy), and Law. In accelerated programs, students complete all of their General University requirements and most of the major courses in three years at NJIT. The first year of professional school completes the Bachelors (BA/BS) degree requirements.
The Albert Dorman Honors College typically considers students who score in the 90+ percentile of test takers on the SAT or ACT exams, have a B+ average, and a history of leadership and service to the community. Exceptionally qualified candidates may apply to an accelerated program of their choice at the same time as they apply to NJIT and the Honors College through the Common Application.
