Assistant Director for Curriculum Development and Advising
Ms. Bacsik joined the Albert Dorman Honors College in summer of 2021 after serving as an Academic Advisor at NJIT's Martin Tuchman School of Management. She coordinates the honors educational tracks and advises scholars enrolled those track. She also oversees co-curricular civic engagement, colloquia, and the Honors Summer Research Institute.
Prior to joining NJIT in 2020, Ms. Bacsik worked for 11 years at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands in various roles focused on the internationalization of education. This included developing strategic international education partnerships, designing scholarship programs, and managing international student enrollments. Ms. Bacsik initiated and managed TU Delft's active participation in the Global E3 engineering exchange network, of which NJIT is also a consortium member. Furthermore, she advised both incoming international students and outgoing study abroad participants.
Ms. Bacsik has lived in Amsterdam, London, Paris, and Zurich. She encourages students to engage in international, intercultural, and experiential learning opportunities, in addition to being active participants in their local communities. Ms. Bacsik holds an MA in International Education from the SIT Graduate Institute and a BA in Business and Economics with a minor in Art History from Lafayette College where she was a Marquis Scholar. Ms. Bacsik is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Education.
