ADHC Alumni Award Categories:

Young Honors Alumni Award
Given to a young graduate of the Albert Dorman Honors College at NJIT who has demonstrated great promise and leadership or is making an influential impact in their field and contributes time and effort to the betterment of the Albert Dorman Honors College and society.
Candidate must be an alumnus or alumna of the Albert Dorman Honors College who is age 35 or younger or has graduated within the last 10 years. -
Distinguished Alumni Impact
The Distinguished Alumni Impact Award is presented to an Albert Dorman Honors College graduate who has demonstrated a significant and lasting impact on their community. This individual advocates for social, environmental, or policy change and actively influences or empowers others through their professional achievements or personal volunteer efforts. The recipient’s contributions may span local, regional, or global levels, reflecting a commitment to creating a better society through leadership, advocacy, and service.
Nominees for the ADHC Distinguished Alumni Impact Award must have graduated over 10 years ago. -
Distinguished Alumni in Leadership
Given to an ADHC alumnus who has made a significant impact in their career while promoting and improving their profession through their leadership. Candidates are to have served in a leadership role in their profession for a substantial period and have mentored younger members of their profession's community.
Nominees for the ADHC Distinguished Alumni in Leadership Award must have graduated over 10 years ago. -
Distinguished Alumni Service Award
Given to a volunteer in the Honors College community who has worked tirelessly for an extended period to advance the Honors College's mission. The individual embodies the spirit and ideals of the institution and continues to selflessly dedicate their time to the Honors College today. Candidates are individuals who have demonstrated exceptional volunteer leadership in support of the Honors College.
Nominees for the ADHC Distinguished Alumni Service Award must have graduated over 10 years ago. -
Friend of the Albert Dorman Honors College Award
Given to a non ADHC alumnus who has displayed a significant and helpful interest in the Honors College at NJIT.
