Honors Requirements

Why Colloquia Matter:
Staying informed about the world beyond your field of study is a vital part of developing as a well-rounded leader. The Albert Dorman Honors College Colloquium Series helps students explore the intersections of science, technology, and society through meaningful engagement with current topics and thought leaders.

 

About the Series:
The Honors Colloquium Series typically offers 10–15 different events per semester, held during university common hours. These events feature engaging talks and conversations with leaders from industry, academia, and government.
Programming may also include:

  • Field trips to corporate, scientific, cultural, and community organizations

  • Co-sponsored campus events that reflect timely political, cultural, or societal themes

 

Attendance Guidelines:

  • Students must complete an attendance/evaluation form distributed at the start of each event.

  • Students arriving more than 10 minutes late will not receive the form.

  • Forms will not be accepted from students who leave early.
