What is honors advising?

We are excited to get to know you and can help you in the following ways:

  • Talk about your goals

  • Decide which classes to take and when

  • Review and update your Honors Educational Plan

  • Brainstorm solutions to challenges you are facing

  • Point you to campus resources to support you

  • Discuss adding a minor or new major

  • Think together about how/when to study abroad or pursue a co-op

  • Learn about national awards and fellowships!

Peer Mentoring

The Passing the Torch Mentor Program provides every first-year honors student an opportunity to be assigned an upper-class honors peer mentor.
